The principles of keto eating
Keto eating cuts carbohydrates, usually to 20–50 g a day, and puts the emphasis on fat, with a moderate protein intake. Carbohydrates come mainly from vegetables such as broccoli, courgettes, spinach and cucumbers, but also from small portions of berries, nuts and dairy.
Sugar, honey, juices, bread, pasta, rice and potatoes are strictly limited. What counts is the amount eaten over the whole day, including side dishes and drinks.
On După gust, the ✓ Keto mark shows dishes that can be included in such a menu. Carbohydrates are shown per serving, so you can match the recipe with your other meals.
